C and C++ Interview Questions & Answers. Here are the list of most frequently asked C and C++ Interview Questions & Answers in technical interviews. These questions and answers are suitable for both fresher’s and experienced professionals at any level. These C and C++ Interview Questions and Answers will guide you to clear all Interviews. Options Controlling C Dialect. The following options control the dialect of C that the compiler accepts:-ansi. Support all ISO C89 programs. This turns off certain features of GCC that are incompatible with ISO C89, such as the asm and typeof keywords, and some predefined macros that identify the type of system you are using. It also enables the undesirable and rarely used ISO trigraph feature ... The preprocessor doesn’t know about the scope rules of C. Preprocessor directives like #define come into effect as soon as they are seen and remain in effect until the end of the file that contains them; the program’s block structure is irrelevant. A Preprocessor mainly performs three tasks on the HLL code : (for example cl.exe/WSL/MinGW for Windows, gcc/clang for macOS/Linux). If this automatic configuration is insufficient, you can modify the defaults by running the C/C++: Edit Configurations (UI) command. In that view, you can change the compiler you want to emulate, the paths to include files you want to use, preprocessor definitions, and more. @JohnStrood The difference is at scope level. target_compile_definitions sets the value for WHOLE executable/library, where as 'set_source_files_properties` sets the value for only the specified file. Latter command allows for files to compiled using a different language; i.e.: set_source_files_properties(compile_me_as_objc.c PROPERTIES -x objective-c. In this C++ tutorial, you created a Visual Studio C++ console project and created your first C++ program, Hello World. Along the way, you learned how C++ code is built (preprocessor, compile, link), the basic structure of C++ applications, and a little bit of C++ history. 2021.12.05 06:13 ManiacXaq Fold 3 trial, Need Advice
I currently use a Note 20 Ultra and just bought a Fold 3. I've been dreaming about the Fold 3 forever so I finally got it with the intention of using it for the next month and deciding if I like it more than the Note 20 Ultra or not.... If it works for me, if it's worth it, etc..., or if I should return it. So, I could use all the help me fellow Fold users can muster. Best case with s-pen attachment? I got the Samsung case with the spen, which is awful, and I plan on returning it but want the spen. Best configurations? I usually use Nova on my Notes, should I use it on the Fold? What apps, abilities, things should I try to show myself the best the Fold has to offer as so I can make a decision on whether or not to keep it? What games should I try that really make the Fold unique? What arrangements of apps? I want to want the Fold over the Note 20 but right now I'm really not sure yet. Due to Best Buys holiday return policy I have a while to try it out and compare and so I ask you all for your help in pointing me in the right direction.

2021.12.05 06:13 grandmcdonaldx TIFU by getting fired for driving a customers car
I am so worked up right now, so forgive any errors.
I work at a hotel as a valet. My boss tells me he needs me to pick up one of the district managers flying in to our location. I say hell yeah since it will get me out of the front of the hotel for a while. I don't have my car (its in the shop) so I tell him thats the only problem. He says its okay to take a customers car. I love cars, so naturally, I grabbed the keys to a subrau STI that just checked in earlier. Feeling great and I drive from our location to the airport in the STI. Get the manager, everything is great he even tipped me $50 bucks. We pulled back up to the hotel, I let the manager out, and one of the other valets comes over to tell me the customer has been looking for his car. I get out and explain the situation but the owner came up pissed as fuck. They called the hotel manager and my boss. Boss completely threw me under the boss, they fired me on the spot.I dont even know what to do im so pissed. I'm honestly so shaken up right now with anger but I'm glad I no longer have to work there. I'm just more concerned that Hector is going to be running 3 three honda civics with spoon engines and on top of that he just came into harrys and ordered three t66 turbos with nos and a motec system exhaust. I've been told I should contact a lawyer about the situation but I'm not even sure how I can afford that. Honestly, it might be a sign that it's best to just move on and let it be, no action is being taken against me by the customer, so nothing really bad happened other than losing a shitty job anyways. I could really use some advice on what the first steps to do are if I want to proceed with some kind of legal action.
I got fired for driving a customers car.

2021.12.05 06:13 StopHavingAnOpinion r/Halo goes into Lockdown. A 343 Industries Employee tries to defend microtransactions and the current development of Halo Infinite, and r/Halo are not having it.
I guess you could consider this a sequel to my other post (and I was very wrong about them not bitching about monetisation). Moreover, since my last thread, Halo has restricted posts to prevent real and supposed abuse.
Ske7ch (a 343 Industries Employee) attempted to explain some of the problems with the game at the moment and his anger at the Halo fans for the abuse the employees were receiving across reddit. In his long message, he defends micro-transactions, and explains other issues which openly admit that 343 have been monetising the game. Halo are not having it. Like my previous thread, Halo is annoyed because many believe that the company is deliberately monetising progression and restricting basic features of the game. On the premise of being free, the multiplayer has a 'Battle Pass' which restricts all but very basic cosmetics which have been free in all Halo games for 17 years. The 'progression' system feels even more monetised, and encourages spending to make it easier to unlock levels. Moreover, the inability to pick game modes for multiplayer seems inexcusable and is attached to the already monetised progression system.
However, are the Halo fans entitled? Is it entitlement to want a game without monetisation? Have we gotten to the point where capital 'G' gamers are so hated that people bootlick companies even when they are at fault? Is 343 simply exercising damage control? Are the mods on board with 343, and want to restrict criticism? MAC rounds have been authorised in the comments.
I just hope there are more avenues for unlocking armor (for free) in the future.
If the idea behind swaps and challenges was not to monetize progression and if the playlists were not restricted for the same reason then what WAS the design philosophy that made them create these systems in the first place?
Yea it’s great to read all of that but after 6 years they release a game with a huge store and massive amount of monetization but barebones game modes and horrible progression.
It isn't 2010. Halo isn't at the bleeding edge of the free to play market. The free to play model is well established by now, and this franchise has been working with progression/customization systems since Halo 3 in 2007. Literally none of these choices make any sense to anyone who's ever played or developed games, until you view them from a monitization perspective. Essentially every dirty trick in the book is being used here. Given that, there are only two real possibilities here. Either those choices were made with intention, or someone high up is hilariously, legendarily, cosmically fucking incompetent.
Lmao the main concern for playlists was how many can fit in the UI? Guess what that means.... The UI sucks and needs to be redesigned.
Incredible that it took 343 6 years to make a game with multiple systems that they aren't happy with. This campaign better be a 20 hour slice of heaven. They're charging us the same price for just a campaign as every other Halo game has charged us for the entire game.
TLDR The existence of XP and a battle pass royally fucked with how we were able to approach playlists and game types.
Imagine a slayer playlist being a hot topic in a fucking Halo game 😂😂
Where the reason for not having slayer in a Halo game is partly due to UI limitations but designing a whole game around extremely predatory microtransactions, complete with challenge swaps is just simply business.
I don’t like his defense of the micro transactions. He’s ignoring some major things. They’re overpriced, and they’re charging for stuff that should’ve been in the BP. Not only that, but they intentionally left the most used shoulder armor out of the BP. Despite some of it literally being on the preset noble team kits.
So this whole system of challenge swaps they’re charging money for just happened to coincide with the only halo title in series history that won’t have a slayer playlist on launch. Riiiiiight.
Also wtf how can you act surprised at the backlash. You had flights and the same criticism was leveled at 343 and you didn’t change anything. Enough of the poor me mentality.
So it's admitted that they purposefully destroyed the customization of this game to favor a more monetized loot system because "servers cost money to run". THEN WHY MAKE THE GAME FREE TO PLAY??? Couldn't they have charged full price for the game to help with the super expensive servers?
kudos to ske7ch here, he put his foot down against this community. this sub for the past couple weeks has been absolutely unbearable
I love this sub the past few weeks. KEEP YELLING EVERYONE. Its working. :D
Feel free to leave. Some people are clearly less easily impressed than you.
This guy is talking completely out of his ass and I have no sympathy for him. He's acting like there weren't test flights and months of feedback already in advance, and having the nerve to say they don't owe anyone an explanation is ridiculous. All they seem to do is lie and lie and lie and honestly I'm just tired of it.
classic 343 arrogance on display here folks. Daily reminder reach armour in MCC was only so they could find out which pieces were most popular, so they could then separately monetise them in infinite.
God gamers are so fucking cringe.
Woof I don't even know what to say, this sub is more toxic than a fuckin' Poison Dart Frog covered in Arsenic.
everyone berating 343 employees is exactly why they went radio silent over MCC release. In the beginning they were highly talkative about it and what they are working on but people were downright abusive, and even sending death threats.
Congratulations everyone you drove a community managers to the brink, are you proud of yourselfs?
Does anyone else feel really bad for 343? They released a game half a month before it was due to release because it was the 20th anniversary and all they're getting is shit for it.

2021.12.05 06:13 BroodjesAap52 Would you consider starting off with a legit tamed wyvern cheating?
When I start off(which I frequently do as a result of cheating and me getting bored in the world after, I cheat in the heat of the moment) I make a 'DragonRider' character. I note run myself to >65, and get a metal pick. Then I go to Crystal Isles and tame a insanely good blood wyvern(wild tamed one at 150!)
I then make a new character, which is my primary survivor. Others keep crowing about how it's cheating, but I say it isn't, since I tamed him legit. They bring up the 'You didn't tame him with the character you're playing with'. Would you consider this cheating? I know I should play how I like but I would just like to know your opinions on this. (Wasn't sure which flair to pick)
